Vacation Meditation is a concept of Kalá Devi (Andrea Brachfeld) based on the teachings of the great gurus to promote inner peace and happiness through a combination of music, storytelling and meditation.

This Experiential Workshop is designed to facilitate the participant to independently access a peaceful state of mind at any time and any place, which in turn provides the person the tools to face life's everyday challenges with a balanced and open mind and heart.

Storytelling for the Soul and Spiritual Flute Music is a 2-2 1/2 hour presentation comprised of three main components:

Initially Kalá Devi will create a calm atmosphere through some deep breathing exercises and some gentle asana postures to allow the body to feel a conscious stillness, followed by flute meditation music and a short period of silence. Selected short stories will follow which exemplify the morals and ideals of spirituality and many have a humorous touch to them. The stories and accompanied music come from many different cultures and incorporate the teachings of the Hindi, African, Jewish, and Christian faiths among many others as well as the general human perspective. The Experiential Workshop will end with a solo flute performance often improvisational in nature!

The intention is for the Vacation Meditation - Experiential Workshop to be held at yoga centers, ashrams, retreats, spiritual centers and all spaces where people gather for healing world-wide.
